continued requests for M* ranking (in category) in fund world
Completed
For funds Morningstar offers a category rank for returns and risk measure. This simply the rank that this fund has in regard to the rest of the funds in the same morningstar category. They also include the total number of funds in that category that could be ranked. So, for instance, it may be 103 of 1183.
We can do this using the scoring models and changing the category that is making up the universe, but it's a lot to do to get to a number for a fund quickly. Maybe we could pre-calculate this data and make it available on a new fund page called "rankings".

It looks like this is in the API Feed: http://api.morningstar.com/v2/service/mf/xgykt31l2zr2zu8y/mstarid/FOUSA02TYI?accesscode=qdal8mpt109kcawxiek3q57v51is3sam
Can we pull this in? I am currently calculating this manually for a client, John Gugle. It takes ~15 minutes to download (~80,000 YCP and 1100 YCS 5 Year Monthly Calls). If we can get this in, we would be shaving ~65,000 of those YCP Calls and hopefully reduce this time to less than half.
