It appears most sources display a 7 day SEC yield for money markets - which makes sense given the product. Not really a make or break but would be a nice to have if we could get the data from M* or work off of the current SEC yield (Which is a 30 day timeframe).

For money markets, it looks like the 7 day yield is the go to. We have it in the API Center and it's updated daily.

Mutual fund -> Money Market

Operations Data -> Fundamentals -> Yields

https://investor.vanguard.com/mutual-funds/profile/VMMXX - the only yield it shows is the 7 day yield and the 7 day compounded

Vishal,

Thanks for calling me yesterday. I do have a question -- my very first search since signing up is to find money market funds. I want to see holdings, expense ratio, and yield. When I do a search on YCharts for money market funds, however, the data returned is inaccurate. The SEC yield (only yield figure provided) is way off. See below. The SEC yield on VMMXX is 2.13% (see here: https://investor.vanguard.com/mutual-funds/profile/VMMXX) and the SEC yield on VMRXX is 2.19% (see here: https://investor.vanguard.com/mutual-funds/profile/VMRXX).

Is YCharts working to address this issue? When I was doing my demo with Jared I noticed some data screw-ups around exposures, which i pointed out to him, and which I didn't think were a big deal at the time. These issues with using the screener for money market funds however make me worry that I won't be able to rely on YCharts (at least the Fund Screener) as I hope to.
