I checked the YCharts reference sheet and could not find a data point that shows the number of shares in a company’s float.
Ycharts does have shares outstanding however, and also has percent of float sold short—but no float data (that I could find).
This is an important data point that we follow and I’d like to know if I’ve missed it somewhere, and if I have not, if it’s something that can be considered for addition.

Is that calc from the screen reliable? We dont have good Float numbers from M* so we will have to do it ourselves.

^ Yeah we had check some of those numbers before and they werent always reliable. I'll do a larger sample and check.

We actually get it, but we dont do anything with it because its not updated often, (like a few times a year or once a year)
