"Although I have screeners available from Fidelity ATP, ThinkorSwim, Marketsmith and FINVIZ the YCharts screener is by far my "Go To" tool.

What makes it particularly powerful is the amazing range of financial metrics available coupled with the ability to create formulas.

The one thing missing, and it can be a source of great frustration, is the ability after running a screen to enter a stock symbol of a company I really thought should have satisfied the criteria but did not for some reason.

That way by having the criteria as output columns and entering the symbol in question I could discover which criterion was not satisfied.

It is possible to do that with the Fidelity screener and that is often quite useful. In particular these days when many of the liquid high growth stocks are Chinese companies the Long term Growth rate values available can be a bit flaky and can prevent a company from appearing which should make the cut with the screener. There are also enough differences for other stocks between the database you use (S&P I believe) and Thomson-Reuters as used by yahoo and Fidelity that some "mysteries" can occur.I'm sure I would not be alone in benefiting from and greatly appreciating this simple to add feature. It is a much easier path than going to "DATA" fro an individual stock and trying to puzzle out why it did not pass the screener test."
