Kyle,

Is there any way to plot an "average" line on a chart for a given time period - for instance, display the average or median PE ratio on a particular company or index over a given time period?

Thanks,

Hi Kris,

We don't have a way to click a button to average out a data point, however we do have means and medians built out for multiple metrics. Take a look at my example here. Does this help?

Thanks Kyle appreciate the prompt response as always - yes that does help - what I'm curious about is the ability to add that feature in over a custom time period - say take the data for a specified time period like trailing 10 or just pick a time data set say 1999-2009 and look at average or median for the selected variable, PE, Earnings, Dividend Yield, something where you have that data set already and you're just applying an algorithm to calculate it out and plot it on the chart - that way you could have a visual line for where the average or median is to compare with the current or recent data points to measure visually versus historical.

I'm wondering if that's a feature that would be plausible to add in the future?

Keep up the good work,
